**Getting Ready for Work: For Minors and Parents on getting that First Job - Thursday, June 7, 2018, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.**
Location: Eastern Maine Development Corporation Office (Mill Mall, 248 State St, Ste. 15A, Ellsworth). Students ages 14 and up, and their parents, who are interested in learning about summer work opportunities, are invited to attend this interactive, informational workshop. Representatives of the Maine Department of Labor will share updates on youth employment and answer questions on everything from getting a work permit to finding local employers who are hiring permitted workers.
